    Hey everyone,

    I have a weird issue!

Im running WordPress Multisite Subdirectory installation (4.8.1) with WP Ultimo (wpultimo.com) and use it’s built-in domain mapping (Mercator).

When I activate Yoast SEO, EVERYTHING works fine except Post and Pages sitemaps on subdirectory sites that are mapped – or unmapped for that matter. If I unmap the domain it won’t work either.

    See this mapped domain: https://www.stripperdeck.com/sitemap_index.xml

The sitemap shows up fine, the categories sitemap shows up fine, but the posts and pages sitemaps return a 404 not found error.

I’ve resaved my permalinks, added htaccess rewrite rules, turned on twentyseventeen, disabled both site specific plugins as network wide ones, reverted back to older versions of Yoast SEO (where it used to work just fine, the issue started on sept 4th) with no success… And yes, there are pages AND posts published ??

What is driving me crazy is that the main sitemap loads fine, as well as the category one… It’s just the pages and posts (Crazy as in freakishly laughing while being sad :P)

Can anyone point me into a direction that might solve this issue :)?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers,
    Aron

    No you’re not @bigshoe4sho – Thanks :)!

I am currently having a similar issue. I use DIVI Builder, and Yoast SEO. The sitemap index appears fine, and you can click and go to the categories and tags sitemaps, but the post and pages sitemaps return a 404. I have tried uninstalling yoast and reinstalling, but it does the same thing. I have checked to make sure our server has rewrite rules set, and it does.

What’s weird is that the Yoast sitemaps were all working when I installed it. I went through for SEO and changed permalinks, and now it’s broken. Any ideas on how to fix would be great!
