when i look at your https://shspestcontrol.com/sitemap_index.xml i see that in the https://shspestcontrol.com/post-sitemap.xml there do not appear any posts. looks like you have disabled these in the yoast-settings.

your https://shspestcontrol.com/category-sitemap.xml contains urls of the secondary domain.

we did not make any code for yoast compatibility. it just worked from the beginning. if they may change something in their plugin, we would have to see if we can keep compatibility.

    oh wait …
just saw that there is really a problem with yoast compatibility. posts that have a mapping do not appear in the sitemap – as you reported.
pages appear in the sitemap with the primary domain.

    categories and tags work fine.

we will have a look at it. please be patient.

we do not see any problems on pages so far. also the fix for posts is already in testing stage and will be released soon ??

    Hi

    Oke

    Thanks for the quick reply

    Bill

I noticed, when using your plugin with Woocommerce to try to change /shop/ to shop.domain.com that All Tags, Categories and main entry is rewrited to shop.domain.com

But, product pages, even is were with /shop/ slug on the beginning are not rewrited to shop domain. Know, that this may be problematic, due to way how woocommerce is working, but you can see as well that in products sitemap is also not rewrited.

    Have a look on:
    https://shop.andrewsfasteners.uk/
    and for sitemap:
    product-sitemap.xml in main domain https://www.andrewsfasteners.uk/

    Regards

    hy,

we noticed that woocommerce uses a lot of own functions to build it’s url structure. some things like product categories are affected, but – as you reported – product pages are not.
we already had a look into it to see if we want to build support for woocommerce, but this is not going to happen (soon). we will add this information in the description/faq in the next release.

therefore, also the yoast-compatibility for woocommerce is not on our feature-list.

    sorry for that,
    matt

Despite Woocommerce, it is possible to rewrite /product_cat-sitemap.xml
from main domain to subdomain pointed using your plugin to work with Google Search Console for subdomain?

Problem is, once subdomain is activated, all pages on /product_cat-sitemap.xml that are not part of main domain www. are removed from indexing.

    hy idarek,
we already have the solution for the problem that pages are not part of the sitemap and we hope to release the full update this week.
but the sitemap will remain sticked to the main domain, as you should be owner of all domains that appear in a sitemap regarding to google webmaster tools and we dont want to split up the sitemap functionality from a different plugin.

yoast compatibility should be fixed with latest release 0.1.2 – please confirm ??

I have sorted redirection to relevant sitemaps for subdomains using .htaccess and this generator site

After update to 0.1.2 works still like charm, and new points appears in sitemaps in relation to subdomains which is great! Just need to remember to turn off Yoast SEO sitemap (just sitemap part) to disabled and back to enabled to see changes in place. This will help a lot to index subdomains much quicker.

    Thanks.

    off topic.
Update to 0.1.2 changed also links for products in WooCommerce to follow subdomain. Previously only pages and categories were changed, and products stays linked in page slug. No it is working for Products as well on shop.andrewsfasteners.uk

    I have updated the plugin.

Followed idarek’s suggestion to turn Yoast Sitemap off and on again.

All good. Posts are now listed in the sitemap.

    Thank you!
