Mapped page redirects to primary domain

in the http response you can see that the redirection from your custom domain is caused by nginx – which means it happens server side and not inside wordpress.

looks like you will have to double check everything in your hosting environment :/

one thing to note: since you use comments from registered users, please keep in mind that logged in state is not available on mapped pages, so your users won’t be able to use their account on these page if mapping will work later.

Unfortunately it seems my hosting provider is using a system that does not support making the configuration needed ??

Might start looking for alternate providers…

Strongly considering migrating to wordpress.com – any advice on that, if this type of multi domain setup could work there? With your plugin?

wordpress.com is out of scope for our support. we are aware that they support plugins from the repository for a while now but i do not know if they allow you to have multiple domains and/or the correct alias-behaviour.

we have many of our projects hosted on german shared or managed hosting providers like all-inkl or hetzner and never had any troubles with our plugin there.
