• I’m not familiar with Blue Host process with extra domains – or maybe it’s more cPanel than Blue Host.

I have a primary domain and WPMS set up on a BH account. I have 13 sites created (sub-directories), and the sites all work just fine. I have domain mapping plugin installed and have mapped 13 unique URLs (parked at GoDaddy) to each of the 13 sites. The 13 domains point to the IP address of the primary domain. But instead of displaying the site, it simply displays the Blue Host parked page.

    Example:
    Site on primary domain: https://jmkcustomshutters.com/sunnyvaleshutters/
    Mapped Site: https://www.sunnyvaleshutters.com

Clicking on “visit site” takes me to https://www.sunnvaleshutters.com

Do I just need to wait longer for it to propagate, or do I need to assign those domains within cPanel of the primary domain?

Using the same process with my other server that I use ISPConfig, I did the same exact process above, but I had to add in the 13 domains as co-domains for it to find the site within WordPress.

After more researching, it seems I have to point my NS on GoDaddy to use BH’s Name Servers.

Also read I should have done this prior to mapping, so I guess if after a few hours, it still doesn’t display, then I may try to start the mapping phase over.

dgalfano: did you get this worked out?

I know for my multisites hosted at Media Temple, there is an extra step to create a symlink from the domain itself over to the mainsite domain.
