    Hi Forum.
I use MapPress and it has been integrated in Complianz.
The problem is that it doesn’t show on the page when I’m using Complianza.
I have tried to deactivate Complianz and then it shows correctly
I have tried to accept use of MapPress when Complianz is activated but it still doesn’t show.
Tight now I’m using the Fail safe in Complianz so I can view the map.

Any ideas for fixing this issue?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @kristenmathiasen,

You could disable Safe Mode, and under Integrations only disable MapPress.

I see MapPress has their own integration:

    2.84.4
Added: maps GDPR compliance using the ‘Complianz’ plugin

Is this version active? If so, and it doesn’t work. I will have a look.

    Hi Aert Hulsebos.

I have tried to disable Safe Mode and afterwards disable MapPress under Integrations – Plugins. It doesn’t work.

I have tried to deactivate W3 Total Cache but the map still doesn’t show. There is only white screen where the map should show.

That means: MapPress is only shown when I disable Complianz or I activate Safe Mode.

    Any suggestions?

    Kind regards
    Kristen

    Hi @kristenmathiasen,

Can you try if disabling the following integrations (and disabling Safe Mode in Complianz as well) helps to restore your MapPress map to its’ original, unblocked state?

Complianz > Integrations > Services > Google Maps
    Complianz > Integrations > Plugins > MapPress

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi everybody,

I’ve just upgrade my MapPress plugin and I encounter the same issue.
Unfortunetly, your sujections @jarnovos doesn’t fix the problem. I still have a white screen blocking my map.

    Any other clue ?

Thank you all for your help,
    Regards,
    Yannis

    Hi Jarnovos.

I have tried your suggestions and disabled:

    – Complianz > Integrations > Services > Google Maps
    – Complianz > Integrations > Plugins > MapPress

At the same time I have deactivated “Safe Mode” at:

    – Complianz > Settings > Cookies > Activate Safemode

Unfortunately it doesn’t work. The only thing that works is to activate “Safe Mode”.

@yannep – he has encountered it when MapPress was updated – maybe there is something there?

    Kind regards Kristen

    Hi,

I was facing the same issue.

I followed all the steps provided by disabling services and plugins integrations of OpenStreetMaps and MapPress without success.

The only way I found to reactivate the Map display was by adding the plugin path (https://mydomain.tld/wp-content/plugins/mappress-google-maps-for-wordpress) into the whitelist at the bottom of the “integrations” menu.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @kristenmathiasen, @azursolutions, @yannep,

MapPress has their own integration, which has some issues. We will contact MapPress and let them know.

In the meantime, it seems that enabling iFrame compatibility in MapPress seems to work.

    regards Aert

    Hi @aahulsebos

I can confirm it’s working with that fix on my side.

    Many thanks

    Hi @azursolutions @kristenmathiasen and @yannep,

As MapPress has included this integration in their plugin (which has also been updated further, based on our suggestions), the next Complianz will drop the MapPress integration on our side; after which this should work out-of-the-box again.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now. But feel free to let us know if there are any questions!

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
