MapPress Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError

    I wanted to use a google maps maps correctly. So I created an account and recived an API. The API has the type “Browser”, what I think should be correct.

    Moreover I confirmed the url under https://www.google.com/webmasters/verification/home?hl=de and the confirmation was sucessfull. So nrc-makler.de and https://www.nrc-makler.de are now confirmed.

    But when I try to use Mappress I get the warning in my console “Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError” and I can’t see the map.

    I don’t realy get why. The google help says: “The current URL loading the Google Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key on the Google Developers Console.”

    But I HAVE added my urls on the webmasters site. So I don’t get why it’s not working. The only thing I could imagine is, that I’m using the Mappress Plugin in the subdirectory “nrc-makler.de/unterverzeichnis”. Can this cause the problem? I hope somebody can give me a hint how to solve this
