MapPress Short Codes not Working on Listings Taxonomies
-
Hello!
In the listing details, it says we can add shortcode under “map options” for MapPress pro.
Cool!
However, the custom taxonomies that Impress makes…I don’t think they are registered properly.
So let’s say we want to put a map here: /status/sold/
If we add shortcode to the page (using an Agent Evolution theme), it has no effect. Agent Evo plugin and Agent Evo theme. ??
Before you say it: In the MapPress Pro settings, you can choose the types of posts that can have maps. “Listings” is checked off. The MapPress shortcode does work on the listings post type, but not listing taxonomies. I contacted the author of MapPress and he said it should work.
The reason I want this to work, is because we could create a mash-up map of “sold listings”, at the top of the status-sold taxonomy, with a sold sign as a POI icon. Pretty cool idea right?
Thank you in advance!
