    Hi again!

On some of my pages (rather the more empty pages) the travalers’ map does not showe at all. In Console it throws an error.

    Dear Florian @fschupp,

You might have found the first bug of my plugin ahah. I think it’s related to the last update I did, adding the possibility to display several maps on the same page.

It’s really strange that it’s only working on some pages…
Could you test some things for me so I can understand and reproduce this bug?
1 – what shortcode are you using when it’s not working? Is it always the same?
2 – if you change the shortcode parameters on a page with an error, is it working again?
3 – can you try adding a second map to an error page?
4 – just in case, do you think it could be related to WPML? Is this problem appearing on translated pages?

Thank you, I hope one of these tests will lead me in the right direction!

I tried a couple of things, it looks like the problems happens in combination with the plugin “Elementor” …

Thank you for pointing this second incompatibility, I will have a look when I have some time ??

Interesting: It looks like elementor does not pass shortcodes to the frontend correctly. If I paste the shortcode as a headline or <P> it works at least better …

    Dear @fschupp,

I installed elementor today on my local environment, and everything is working fine with Travelers’ Map, I can’t reproduce your bug :/

I tried with the “shortcode” block in elementor, and text, both are working fine.

Did you find a workaround? Do I mark this ticket as resolved?

I have the same issue, the shortcode won’t work in Elementor or when I add it to the page without using Elementor.

Furthermore, in the beginning it was showing me an error that leaflet.js was missing. By now this error has subsided. To compare I also added another leaflet map plugin to wordpres (one that looks you based yours on) and that one works perfectly both in elementor and outside.

As I understand it, your problem is different, if you can’t add the shortcode anywhere!

The error message you were seeing is:

    Travelers' Map is loading...
If you see this after your page is loaded completely, leafletJS files are missing.

I added this message for this purpose, and it means the javascript files of leaflet are not loading. Why? I don’t know, I need more info:

1 – Can you open your javascript console? Rightclick on your page > Inspect Element > Open the “Console” tab in the opened window. If there is an error message (red), please tell me.
2 – Can you try on a normal page (without elementor)?
3 – Try to disable other plugin to see if it can be an incompatibility issue.

What WordPress and Elementor version do you have?

Finally, can you open another forum support thread? So I can easily see what is resolved and what’s not.
