Same problem no map, API error.. it happened after plugin update.

Ok It’s Google issue to fix it you need to edit plugin and add your own API key.

1. Get API Key https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

2. Find in plugin https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js and change it to
“https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY”
