margin and padding not working

  • Hi there, I am creating a product page, in the desktop view I created a section with two columns. In mobile view each column occupy 100% the first column is stretched to the max (product image) and the second column should have padding of 10, I can change and see how it changes in the elementor builder but this padding isn’t applied in reality in mobile view, it is very frustrating, I already tried so many things and I don’t consider myself a newbie (3 years of editing my site). I recently updated all of my plug-ins including elementor and now it is a pain to work with it, even considering not using it anymore. Content width is: full width; columns gap: no gap; stretch section: yes; page layout: elementor full width.

    The problem is I don’t want any small white edges around the product image so I select “no gap”, but this stretches the second column as well which is within the section. Even if I give this column some padding it won’t work.

    I also can’t have two sections because in the desktop view they’re beside each other… I even tried duplicating the content and hide them respectively within “responsive” for mobile or desktop. But this created another problem, which is my cart button having two minus and two plus signs in the quantity section (– 1 ++)… Please help!

    Hi there

    Could you please go to Elementor > Settings > Feature and disable the “Additional Custom Breakpoint” feature and see if that helps you with your query?

    Can you also share the screenshot of the section that you are referring in your query?
