Margin below flexslider – just cant get it ..

Hi, a fairly recent update to metaslider took away my under-slider margin which was like this: .metaslider {margin: 0 0 4rem !important}
And I can’t get anything to work, its like the php is stripping the css.
Inspect Element shows me that the metaslider div isn’t seeing my styling at all.
It shows your public.css styling, but fails to link my style.css code.
Whats going on? And/or how would you add a bottom margin to the flex-slider?
