    Does this plugin support MariaDB – the alternative to MySQL? It seems to crash on our server that uses MariaDB and doesn’t have MySQL.

    Yeap it supports MariaDB, I have been using MariaDB on my live site for many years with this plugin.

    MariaDB is a drop-in replacement for MySQL, so it should not crash. I also not sure why you mean by “crash”/

    Good to know. Turned out the host had misconfigured PHP on the server and it works now.
