Mark Paypal donations as gift

    By default using standard paypal transactions paypal would take off 3% of the donations since it’s marked as goods and services.

    Is there a setting in Give that would allow the donation to be marked as a gift so paypal doesn’t automatically take 3% off?

    Hi there,

    PayPal only offers that “send money to friends or family” offer through their website, never over their API, so unfortunately not.

    The best way to accommodate that though is with our Fee Recovery add-on. it allows your donors to opt to donate the additional amount above their base gift.
