Marker icons not updating

  • Hi Michaela,
    if you want to replace a custom icon you uploaded, you have to connect via FTP to your server and replace the icon in the icon directory, which is located at domain.com/wp-content/uploads/leaflet-maps-marker-icons/ – overwritting the existing icon with a new one.

    Hi Robert,
    Apologies, maybe I didn’t describe it properly. I have already uploaded all the icons I want to use 2 years ago. They are numbers from 1-99. Now I wanted to change a 1 into a 6 and it didn’t accept the change. Every time I clicked on save, it went back to 1. I guess there is a bug somewhere. I worked around it by deleting the marker and creating a new one.

    Hi Michaela,
    glad you found a workaround – not sure though what happened on your server – anyway as creating a new marker seemed to work, I guess the original issue may have been a temporary issue. If not, I would need to have temp admin access and be able to reproduce this behaviour on your site to be able to tell what is going on…
