Marketing flags on rental properties

The properties are imported from an Alto feed.

I’m using your Property Hive Template Assistant Add On to add marketing flags to the properties in the listings. On the sales ones, you’ll notice ‘Sold’ ‘SOLD STC’ etc.

On the rentals, marketing flags aren’t showing.

I’ve taken a look and I think what’s happened is that we recently upgraded our Vebra support to use v11 of their API instead of v9.

Looking through their docs it looks like they introduced some new lettings statuses in v11 which we haven’t added. I’ve manually added support for these within your WP installation now, mapped them accordingly, and can see the statuses now showing correctly on the Rentals page.

Hi John,

When importing a property we look at the address fields and see if any of them match one of the locations set up under ‘Property hive > Settings > Custom Fields > Locations’.

It looks like you don’t have any locations setup there so first thing to do will be to add the ones you want in there.

Secondly, I noticed the custom_location field wasn’t being included in these checks so I’ve just added this as part of version 1.2.61 of the Import add on which has just this second been released. Including a link to it below should you need it:

I know this is not related to this particular plug-in, but do you know how to add a comma separator in the property price? I’m pulling the details in using Theme.co’s Dynamic Content ability.

This is the current code I’m using ￡{{dc:post:meta key=”_price”}} which drops the price in, but I’d love to have the comma separator there too.

Hi John,

Yes doing what you’re doing would pull the raw data straight from the database without the commas. It also wouldn’t work for lettings as that field is called _rent and not _price.

The only way I can think to do this would be to create a custom shortcode. So add a snippet like so:

… and then where you want the price to be output you can use the shortcode [formatted_price_output].
