For the past few months several taglines were added to e-mails sent to both admins and users:

    “Congratulations on the sale.”

“Process your orders on the go. Get the app”

Also, I just found out that user gets a new order e-mail which contains

    Thanks for using {site_url}!

I only found out how to remove the line about the app thanks to a similar topic here, but can’t remove the other ones. Is it possible?

  • Hi there @napisal

As I understand, you are interested in editing out some, now unwanted, marketing taglines, that can be found at your store’s sent email. Correct?

Linked here is a guide on How to Customize WooCommerce Emails.

If utilizing a plugin sounds more appealing, feel free to try out?Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce.

In a nutshell, feel free to head to the WooCommerce > Settings > Emails screen, and edit as many, or all, of the email templates found there.

Gut feeling: this might also be related to some other plugin, installed on your site, that was used to enter those marketing snippets in the first place.

To verify that, after going ahead with checking the email templates I mentioned above, have a look at the plugins list, at the site’s backend.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
