I have recently installed the Marketo Gravity Forms Plugin for WordPress. Everything seems to be working perfectly, I am seeing the leads coming through with all the correct data, EXCEPT for the text area “Description.” I mapped the “Description” field on the form to the “Person Notes” field in Marketo. I can’t tell if Person Notes is a custom or standard field, but either way, it doesn’t show up on the field list on the field mapping page. There are several boxes at the bottom that say “Add a Custom Field” – so I typed “Person Notes” into one, and set it to map to the “Description” field from the WordPress Form. No dice – the data from this form is not coming across. I can only get to it by going into the Entries, and viewing the detail page.

I realize that this forum is support for WordPress, but I’m getting no responses to my support request on the Marketo Gravity Forms Plugin support page – nor is anyone else for that matter.

  • Gomez – did you have any luck getting an answer? What did you have to set up on the Marketo side? Sorry, I know these are basic questions.

Nope – I never got an answer. My data is still not coming across cleanly. When I emailed the developer Zack Katz directly, he shot me back some pricing for services.

As for Marketo, I don’t recall needing to set up anything on the Marketo side. I already had SOAP API enabled, and I just needed to grab the API credentials from the Admin section, and pop them into Gravityforms, and then everything mapped automatically…….except of course for the custom fields….
