Marketo Munchkin Script Integration

    I have a question regarding the integration of Marketo munchkin script in Complianz. I integrated the script in Complianz Script centre in “Async scripts to execute on consent”. After running the wizard, the script is not recognized. Also, it is not reflected in the cookie policy. Do I miss something? Or is Complianz not compatible with Marketo? I could not find any post about Marketo.

    Hi @b1026q9,

    Did you implement Marketo into your site using a WordPress plugin or a script? If you are using the plugin, it might be necessary for them to integrate with the WP consent API. Did you remove script tags from the script you placed in the Script Center?

    If Marketo places first-party cookies, they should be picked up by the cookie scan. Third-party cookies are possibly not picked up and can be added manually.

    Hi @b1026q9,

    You can add the tracking code to Marketo, make sure you don’t use <script> tags. You can also add the script outside of the script center: https://complianz.io/enable-consent-on-async-javascript-without-script-center/.

    This will make sure the tracking code is labeled in the marketing category. The cookies are not directly available on your policy because a new scan will be necessary, this will be done automatically.
