Marketpress, Themes, Classifieds – Confused

  • Hi guys,

    I was wondering if you could answer me few questions regarding your Marketpress plugin. I’ve researching multi-vendor plugins before making the final decision, yours looks like it could be the one, but I am a little confused in terms of the functionality.

    Basically, I would like to create a multi-vendor marketplace where sellers would sign up, have their own stores, process their own orders, but I would be taking a percentage cut of their sales. Shopify kind of thing.

    I know I can do this with Marketpress and the MU set up. Please clarify on the percentage of sales.

    What I need to know is if I’ll be able to use my own theme together with Marketpress or if Marketpress already works as a theme or any external themes are available for download. The marketpress themes i’ve seen so far don’t really impress me.

    You feature 3 themes on the WPMUDEV website. Any of them will work with Marketpress at all ??

    Also in the same time, I would like to use the Classifieds plugin on the main parent site, so private sellers ( not stores ) would be able to post one of products.

    So could this work together ? Under the same login for the users for example ?

    Would this set up work out of the box or would it require customizing ??
