  • What status message does the plugin display for these links? Is it “404 Not Found”, “403 Forbidden” or something else?

If it’s something like “Forbidden” or “Connection Failed”, that would usually indicate that your server is either set up to block loopback HTTP requests (i.e. scripts running on the server trying to access pages on that same server), or some other configuration issue prevents the plugin from loading those links. And if the plugin can’t access a link, it will of course report it as broken.

By the way, I added the example link you posted to a test site where BLC is installed, and the plugin didn’t mark it as broken. This also indicates that there’s some server-specific problem, not a general plugin bug.

Thanks for your prompt feedback. I am not sure what the message was…I’ll have to turn it back on momentarily to see. I was surprised that the plugin would cause this because it is so well used but I just could not see what the problem might be. I suspect blocked loopback now that you suggest it. I will have to check with the administrator. Once I confirm I will update this topic.

Thank you again for your prompt attention.
