Markup showing in the image description

  • For some reason the website has started showing the mark up in the description when you click on an image. Any thoughts on how to fix it would be greatly appropriated

  • I am having the same issue. Nextgen seems to be ignoring the HTML within the descriptions. I have approximately 50 clients using this plugin because NextGen allowed HTML in the description. Is this an error or is this permanent? Is there perhaps a workaround?

    Sorry for the trouble,

    It looks like there’s a bug in which certain characters and HTML is not parsed and not displayed properly.

    A report has been created about this issue to notify our development team about it. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

    For the time being, you can switch to a different lightbox effect from?NextGEN Gallery > Other Options > Lightboxeffects?to see if that’ll allow displaying HTML tags.
