    Hello,

    This happens because in HTML5 the rel attribute value is supposed to be only:

    The plugin is using the rel attribute (instead data for example) because in WordPress you can easily add a rel value in wp menus and the editor (not the case with HTML5 data attributes which do not exist in wp menus and are stripped from the editor).

    You shouldn’t worry about this. It’s just a validation error with zero effect in functionality (neither www.ads-software.com or google.com validates).

    Hope this helps as to why the validation error occurs.
