Masked links can be opened by different URLs

  • Hi! Some time ago I discovered by an accident, that my masked affiliate link opened, when I entered another URL. Here is, how it was:

    My prefix is /link . So I have this affiliate link, for example: https://litfan.ru/link/text .

    And on my website I have categories inserted in links. So it’s usually websitename/categoryname/postname .

    And if I enter websitename/categoryname/affiliatelinkurl , then masked link is opened.

    Here is an example with the same “text” affiliate link: https://litfan.ru/poleznye-resursy-dlya-pisatelej/text

    Is it a bug? If yes, then can you fix it? Because one day a post name can match a masked link name, and I don’t know, what will happen then.
