Mass Mail

Just select check all button on top of the list and it will send it to all in list.

The top of the WP Users Email page includes:
From Name:
From Email:
Send Mail By:

Followed by the list. There is a checkbox above the list items in line with the column headers: Display name Email
But there is no “All” button.

You can select all users by clicking top checkbox which is in same headers row where Display name, Email are listed and this checkbox is without any label.

I clicked that checkbox and no mail was sent. When I’ve clicked the “all” button in similar situations check marks were then applied to all individual items in the list, that did not happen wit WP Email Users. Nor was there any indication after clicking the send button that anything was sent. Finally, no one received the test mail I sent. The other elements of the plugin work well. It does a great job creating the mailing list from the WordPress Users File but the lack of an “All” function is pretty serious, quite tedious clicking 80 check boxes.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

For the record I also see nothing to allow messages sent to groups of users nor do I see any way to define groups. If it’s based on user categories roles I see no way to send mail to a specific group of users.

@paulebrandt you are right. you can send emails to user roles. but for groups you can use our Email CSV import/export feature. you can edit CSV files with group of some emails and choose option “CSV List” while sending emails.

The plugin has started to work. The main screen now shows user names and email addresses in groups of five and the top most checkbox turns on all the individual checkboxes. I sent on email to the entire group and indications are that it worked. Why it started working, I don’t know. I’ll use it a couple more days and if it continues to work I’ll give you a thumbs up.
