Mass Messaging CC Sender

    Hi there,

    I have a client requesting that the sender be cced when they send a mass message out. They are also stating that the emails are not reaching their recipients. I am thinking this is a SPAM issue but wanted your thoughts. Again, the most important thing is that the sender receive a copy of their email when sending through mass messaging. Please let me know if this is an option.

    There is the setting to track when recipients have read the message, but this only records those that have visited the site and set that message to “Read”, so in a lot of cases people will have read the email from their local copy and not needed to visit the site.

    What I am actually requesting is that the sender of the message through mass messaging also receive a copy of the message in their email. Is that possible?

    The internals of this are entirely the use of the standard BuddyPress messaging functions. It could be possible to automatically add the sender to the list of people to send to.

    An alternative is that it always ends up in the “sentbox”. What is the use case to get a copy might I ask?

    It would be great to automatically add the sender to the list of people receiving the message. Basically, there are a number of groups and the group moderator would like to have record of any emails they send to the group
