• Hey guys, my client is using the newest version of wordpress, and he’s having trouble uploading mass ammounts of photos. Is there a way I can have him upload mass ammounts of photos via FTP and have the application see them? He wants to manage the photos through the upload center. Is there a plug in that will allow us to upload more images through the upload manager?

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. =)

    Can anyone please help?

I am using another free piece of php software called Gallery2, and the free plugin called WPG2, to manage sites with lots of photos. They work well for uploading lots of photos and it’s easy to insert the photos into your blog, also it’s easier to manage your photos through the Gallery2 interface.

I’d expect to invest several hours into installing this solution, but then your client will have a much easier time managing photos.

    Hope that helps!

jaxshores, i would have to echo scormeny on Gallery2 …

i have successfully installed and incorporated the Gallery and the WPG2 plugin seemlessly in my clients site. I did have to work with it a little, but once you get the hang of it .. it works really good and i would even say GREAT. my client has had nothing but praises about its use.

i could assist you if interested.

Thanks guys, this is an enormous help. Thanks for your offer to help me install this script, DesignPastor. I might have to take you up on this if installation takes as long as you guys seem to think it will.
