Hello everyone, does anybody know how to massively change this setting Advanced – Canonical URL? I have more than 150 pages and need to make Canonical URLs for all of them.

I mean i need to add for every page at this field the same link of this page for example:

    • https: // my website.com/news/good-news
    • https: // my website.com/business-case/case1
    • https: // my website.com/about-us/page3
    • etc. etc.

In other words, i need to duplicate original page link to this field and change the default Canonical URL for all my pages.

How can i do it without adding links for 150+ pages manually?

    Hey @johndoe069,

There’s no great way to do this right now for large batches of pages.

You can potentially do it by writing a custom database query or through a filter hook. You can also export your posts’ SEO data via Tools > Import/Export, edit the JSON and then reimport it (create a backup of the site before doing this).

We are working on the ability to export/import CSV files so you can edit your data in Microsoft Excel, but that’s not ready yet I’m afraid.

    Hey @arnaudbroes,

Thank you for your fast reply! Very interesting information.

Can you provide any deadlines for “export/import CSV files” feature implementation?

I’m afraid I’m not able to yet. It’s in active development but I can’t say for sure yet which release we’ll ship it out with. If you’d like we can probably get you a beta build in the next few weeks.

I’m afraid i can’t use beta build, i’m not a website owner, think it will be risky. But i will be checking new information about this feature in future builds. Thank you for your response.
