Master slider loads slow and after every other image

Hi, i finished a site, but this is killing me.
I have my master slider in top section of my homepage, but it starts loading images after every other image below it is loaded.
WHy is it happening?, how can I load master slider as the first image element to load?

Would it be my theme behavior? or is it the default plugin beahavior?

I have 3.0.4 version.
