Is there a quick / automatic way to match the abandoned carts that from another order are being successgull and not really abandoned, just the same cient tryed to insert the same data in 2 different sessions..

    Hello @whichtransfers,

Thank you for reaching out with your query.

If the same user places another order with the exact same set of products as the previously abandoned cart and the order total matches, the previously abandoned cart will automatically be marked as recovered.

However, if the user places a new order with a different combination of products compared to the abandoned cart, it will not be treated as the same order. In this case, the previously abandoned cart will remain in the abandoned orders list, as the system considers it a separate event.

I hope this clears things up! Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Best regards,

Maybe it is because the same client is writing the same data in different ways?

It happen often to me that the same client is into an abandoned cart, but after a while he made a new order and completed it, leaving the abandoned cart for example..

Often, it means about 10-20% of the orders, so maybe it happen because they insert a different email or a different company name ? Example of different company names: PINCO PALLINO SPA, PINCOPALLINO SPA, PINCO PALLINO S.P.A., PINCOPALLINO S.P.A.. These all 4 are the same company name, but it is not rare that people write it in different ways that are creating errors into the automations..

    Hello @whichtransfers,

    Thank you for the clarification!

Yes, if a customer uses a different email address or purchases a different set of products with a different order total later on, it will considered as different order. This happens because the system identifies the orders by email, and if the email or the set of products changes, the new order is treated as a different transaction from the abandoned one.

For example, if the customer abandoned their cart but later returned with a different product selection or changed their email, this would lead to a new order being created, separate from the abandoned cart.

    Hope this clears things out.

    Best regards,
