Matches Won and Matches List

  • Hey Guys,

    I did a bit of research and couldn’t find an answer so I am hoping you can help. My volleyball league is looking into this plugin and one of the issues we need to solve for is matches one and matches lost, not win/loss based on total score.

    Is this possible to configure?

    For Example if 3 matches are played for 1 event:
    Team A: 25,18,22 (1 won, 2 lost)
    Team B: 20,25,25 (2 won, 1 lost)

    Would you mind sending us more examples?

    Questions that I’d like to solve with these:
    1) What are the implications of having more than 1 game?
    2) Couldn’t it be just saved the same way a set is now? Why?
    3) Does it change anything in the points system?
    4) Is it for tournament-style competitions or even regular competitions (point-based)?

    Hey Roch,

    This league is games won/loss based and not point based. So in this case we play 3 games a night and a team could win 2 of the 3 games. I would need to calculate matches won and matches lost vs. overall points to determine win/loss.

    My thought to get around would be to create an event for each match but I’d ideally not want to do that for each night of the season.

    I hope that helps a bit more.
