You have to stick at least two posts
Edit post > publish > Visibility: Public > Stick this post to the front page
Images can be added by “Featurad Image ”

Thanks for the great theme. I’m having a strange problem. When I put a custom background image into the theme, the white background for the ‘container_12’ class disappears, but only for pages. Posts are fine.

Here’s my posts page.

And here’s one of my pages.

I’ve tried having and not having the sidebar widgets on the pages because I thought that might be the problem, but it didn’t seem to make a difference.

Both archive.php and page.php seem to have the div with the ‘container_12’ class properly wrapping all the rest of it, so I’m kind of baffled.

I appreciated anything you can suggest.

Hi- the theme actually caught my eye because it’s my image in the thumbnail for the downloads. ?? (Im the photographer and Model)
So I figured why not download it but when I try I get this error: *An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.”
Not sure if it’s a server issue (server down for maintenance) or a template package issue? -Jyn

(I’m french so excuse my english)
I’m working on Matisse theme (great theme) but I have a problem with the slideshow : it doesn’t appear on the home page.
I’ve checked 2 posts in “Stick this post to the front page” but nothing happened.
These 2 posts are located at the top of the home page (that wasn’t the case when the checkbox “Stick this post to the front page” was empty) but that’s the only thing.

Is there something to do with “post format” ? Did I miss something ?

Create page “home”
set template “Slideshow” or “Slideshowe white Post”go to
Settings > Reading and change ‘Your latest posts’ on ” A static page (select below) > Home ”

Hi, Im also trying to get images into the Slideshow Template. I put an image in featured image and it went underneath the slideshow on the page. My site is not a blog site its a static website.

How to configure the template

I basically want to change my home page template from slidebar to slideshow which I can do but I don’t know how to fill the slideshow with images

Is there a way to change the footer image or size of it?
