Matix Sorting

I wanted to know if it is possible to use the matrix sorting function to sort more than one answer to a criteria. For example.
Criteria 1 = adjectives.
Possible answers to drag into that criteria box = red, hot, fantastic.
Criteria 2 = nouns
Possible answers = pen, weather, table

I can think of a work around – having these two criteria for multiple questions but thought I’d ask.
