    Hi there,

My matomo is counting far to few visitors in comparison to clicked search in google search console.

    Google search clicks: 63
    matomo: 2

I did a role back to matomo 1.3.2 (PHP DI Problems)
    Any ideas?

    Hi @mickna

thanks for creating this issue. Do you know which plugin was causing the PHP DI problems? Are a lot less collected using version 1.3.2 or while having the PHP DI problems (I suppose during that time no visit was counted)?

Where only 2 visits collected overall or is it that maybe a different kind of referrer was detected for these 63 (eg direct visit) when it should have detected Google search click?

    Hello Thomas,

thank you for your support ??

    PHP DI:
We still have discussed this here.
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/critical-error-after-upgrade/
It is a conflict with Cookiebot. Unfortunately, the cookiebot team has some problems to implement this library as some other plugins will cause new errors, if they update the library (what I understand)

“I suppose during that time no visit was counted”
Well – You can say so – The site did crash with a fatal error ??

Only two visits were collected over all.
    Google yesterday: 89
    Matomo: Still two

But: Things getting worser. My Dashboard is empty (matomo side), but reports are still showing. Maybe this is, that I extracted the plugin from an old backup to roll back?
Thomas: Any chance to get the original 1.3.2 plugin for a clean installation?

Thank you and BTW: great support ??

    Thanks for clarifying @mickna

In this case I recommend you have a look at this FAQ: https://matomo.org/faq/how-to/how-do-i-downgrade-from-matomo-4-to-matomo-3/

Executing the mentioned SQL queries in your database should fix the issue. You will likely need to replace the prefix matomo_ in the DB tables with wp_matomo_ or similar.

All the other steps shouldn’t be needed. Any chance you can give this a try?

    Hi Thomas,

    thank you for your support.

Unfortunately, I can’t give this a try. I switched to matomo “on-premise” / stand alone.
So I have no problems with dashboard, no problems with PHP DI, no problems with to few counts. All is working like a charm now ??

Again, thank you for a really great and professional support (at no cost!),
