    Hi,

Am I mistaking, or are WordPress site search queries NOT included in Matomo’s
    Site Search Keywords-report?

The search-request is recorded in the ‘Visits Log’, even with a ??, but its not registered at Behaviur > Site Search. I just tested this with two sites on two different platforms (but with the same Matomo) but maybe its me?

    Thanks!

Matomo should track internal search as long as it’s activated and you are using one of the standard parameters (or, if you changed the parameters, you configured your parameter).

By default, WordPress adds a “s” parameter (example.com/?s=term) to your URL. If internal search tracking is enabled in Matomo and you did not change the standard parameters (see the website’s settings), this should work out of the box.

Additionally, you can activate the internal search tracking in WP-Matomo as well. In this case, WP-Matomo will also add the number of results to your report.

Ah, it seems to work just fine, only there’s a time delay before queries appear in matomo. Great!
