Max 15 menu items

  • After working almost a year with 40 menu items I suddenly lost 25 menu items after adding a new menu-item.
    Reading all the posts I found the same problem as mine, Menu item limit of 16 items, but these posts were 2 years old.
    Now I wonder why this problem after several WP updates still can occur and why I can work with 40 items and when I have 41 items I loose 25 items and it’s not possible to add a 16th item.
    Meanwhile I sent a request to my provider to change the suhosin variables and hope that this problem will be solved.
    Will there be a new way of adding a menu to my WP site.
    My site https://www.lbroere.nl uses the latest updates and the Suffusion theme.
    Overall I am very happy with WordPress.

    Because this is often a server issue – not a WordPress one. Have you asked your hosts if they’ve made any changes to the server recently?
