Max Import records

I’m trying to import 30K custom taxonomy terms into the taxonomy, i.e. CSV with 1 row of 30K lines. Have split them into 30 x 1K line files but still causing yr plugin to crash.
The import is working but only if repeat importing each file 3-4 times, i.e its skipping records already imported. Does your plugin have a time limit / records limit & if so how can I change it?
