Max Magazine images not loading

  • I’m trying to install/preview Max Magazine theme and cannot seem to get any images to load. All I get is the round “loading” graphic, which never goes away.
    I installed the theme and tried the live preview and, when that didn’t work, I activated it. Neither option worked.
    Do I need to download images separately? Any help you might give would be appreciated.

    You need to add featured images to the posts.

    All I’m trying to do is look at the preview, which has zero images shown. The “Max” logo appears and that’s it.
    When look at the “Available Themes” section, the theme looks great, images and all. When I click on “Live Preview” not one image shows in the preview. I’ve even installed the theme in an attempt to see what it might look like when “live”, but still no images except Max.
    I don’t want to go further with it if all the image links are broken but I don’t quite know what to do next. I added a “featured” category and linked the included Hello World post to it; No images.
    You can tell that I’m a novice at WordPress, but shouldn’t the live preview work better than what I’m experiencing?

    Nothing is broken, everything works fine. You just need to enable from the theme options page.
    You dont need to add a category with name ‘featured’, instead you need to upload the featured images to the post and select the category for the slider from the theme options page.

    Lately I figured I’ve the same problem, my slider works fine when I’m logged in. But when I log out, the slider does not work. it stays in loading mode.

    I’m trying to add a photo slideshow on my homepage. I’m using the free max magazine theme. I done it before using showtime and portfolio plugins, but the slidershow I see it when I’m creating it on my wordpress page, but when I go to visit my website to check what I’ve created it shows only circle rotating which means I think that the photos are uploading, but they never do; however, if I click on the menu for the homepage the slidershow appears. Why is that. I was also wondering whether it will be easier to use the jQuery slider already on the theme page. please help..my website is

    I found the solution;)
    there was a conflict with minify settings in W3 Total Cache plugin.
