    We have installed Max Mega Menu (Version 2.9.5) and are having issues site wide when you hover over a menu element, the max menu deploys as expected but when you hover over another top level menu item the sub-menu jitters and overlaps the previous container. This happened even when transitions are switched off/slowed down or sped up.

    We need this resolved for our client launch in a week or so as they have brought it up to be an issue.

    Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Simon,

    Please go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and add the following:

    .mega-menu a {
        transition: none;
    }

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    Thank you for your prompt response! – This unfortunately has not resolved the issue as the transitions are still present. I have saved this and cleared the CSS cache also.

    Can you perhaps suggest another option?

    Thank you in advance,

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,

    They have gone for me. Please can you make a video and upload it somewhere so I can see what you’re seeing?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Good morning Tom,

    Of course, you can download a screen recording by following this link:

    I have recorded this using both safari and chrome and problem persists.

    Thanks in advance,

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,

    Thanks, that is just the way the “slide up” effect works – you will see the previous sub menu slide up as the new one slides down.

    Can you try setting the effect to “Fade up” instead? That is the same effect but it’ll fade out the sub menu too.

    Regards,
    Tom

    None of the transitions work, however, I have deactivated the transitions completely alongside adding the CSS, this isn’t the desired effect but will have to do for now.

    Thank you for your prompt assistance, have a great weekend.
