• Hello,

I had to increase max_execution_time and it’s not working no matter what I try.

I have changed a few values in .httaccess and all fields but max_execution_time are working fine. I have tried to change it from Cpanel and everything seems fine.

I have created an info.php and it shows me the correct value but inside the theme, it still shows me 0 instead of 300.

Any ideas what could be the cause of that? I have tried to import some items and I got problems right away because of the execution time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

max_execution_time value of 0 means unlimited time, not zero time ??

So this is not what’s causing your import to time out!

Check your logs for what’s really going on.

Thank you George I do get a warning when I check the system:

Max Execution Time 0 – We recommend setting max execution time to at least 300.

I’ll check the logs as well but I remember I’e changed it before and it shwed me the right value not it doesn’t.

    Hi @maz20

If you keep running into problems with it. It may be best to just call your hosting provider and have them increase your max execution time. Some hosting providers restrict these functions and put limits on them regardless of what you change or adjust and upload. I’ve seen this on shared hosting quite a bit. But typically if you just call them and explain to them why and for what you need more resources allocated to you they can increase them, or limit certain restrictions.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi @yobani

Thank you for your suggestion, I will do that as I can’t seem to solve it no matter what I try.
