I have a URL containing a lot of HTML symbols (not sure of the correct term) such as %253D, %2F and %2526.

When defined as the URL of a MaxButton, it converts some of the symbols into their actual value such as a forward slash (/).

This wouldn’t be a problem, but this behaviour breaks the URL in this particular example.

I can share an example if it’s possible to share URLs privately, it’s a bit sensitive.

    Thanks

MaxButtons sends the URL trough a process to ensure as much as possible everything is correct and valid. ( Particularly this one seems relevant ) .

Browsers themselves can also decide to pick up those codes as characters ( since for an URL those are identical ) . This is why it’s probably better to avoid using them at all, as it can cause confusion and broken URLs .
