Maximum amount of links in sidebar

    Hi,

    I am having problems with links and new pages on the sidebar of my page. For some reason I cant add more links or pages to my sidebar. I already got plenty of links. Is there some kind of maximum amount of links and pages on the sidebar?

    When I add new link or page and press save, these new links and pages disappear and the letter x in the box next by the text ‘Secondary menu in left sidebar’ disappears. So my sidebar disappears when I am adding new links or pages on the sidebar. If I take off some pages I can add new ones.

    I would really appreciate if somebody could help me with this problem.

    Thank you for noticing my post. It seems that there is some kind of limit for the pages and links which you can add in the sidebar.

    I just learned that there is a WordPress menu item limit:

    Sometimes this issue manifests as a user reaching a simple limit: they’ve added 50 menu items. They try to add the 51st, and nothing happens if they’re adding it at the end. Or if they add it in the middle, the last menu item is dropped. The limit is 50, so every time they add X more items, the last X are deleted.

    Hello Emily.

    Thank you for your kind help. I got it fixed. I just linked this thread to my host service Hawkhost and they changed my max_input_vars = 1200 to 2000. Problem was solved. Very happy about your quick respond and the Hawkhosts support service.

    Sweet, yeah, they sound like great support.
