Hi, before anything else I would like to say thanks to the developer of this awesome plugin. I am planning to use Tablepress for data concerning audience ratings of TV shows. I want to put everything in one table, let’s say a year’s worth of ratings (which I approximated to be equal to 1,688 rows). Can Tablepress support this number of rows? I would like to know what’s the limit would be, so that I can decide if I’ll use one table per year or use one for each month. In addition, I’m using only 5 columns but I would like to know the maximum limit just in case I need to expand. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

A single table of that size should still be fine. It will not be super-fast (especially the “Edit” screen of the table), but it will be working fine on the frontend.

There is no limit in theory, but the high number of cells can cause some lag in some browsers.

    Regards,
    Tobias

no problem, you are very welcome! ?? Good to hear that this helped!
And thanks for wanting to donate, I really appreciate it!

    Best wishes,

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

    Hi Tobias,
plugin looks very cool, but I need about 4500 names with short info in 3 columns. Is there a possibility to make it work without lags? Some changes in MySQL-based tables or something? Just wondering, because your plugin looks the most efficient.

    Kind regards
    Masha
