    Hello!

First I want to say that this plugin is almost axactly what I need, great work!

Now to the problem. I can’t seem to get the “detect user by ID” to work. I have chosen this option but logged-in users can do the survey as many times as they want. I have set the limit to 1 by the way. Am I missing something?

    Best regards
    Dagar

    Dear @d41g,

    Thank you for the topic.

Please go to the Survey Maker plugin > General Settings page > General tab and check whether the options for the Anonymity Survey are enabled or not.
If this option is enabled then the ‘Limitation by User ID’ option will not work.

    See the screenshot: https://ibb.co/VpnJgLZ

Also, please provide us with the link, where the given survey is located so that we can check and understand what is the problem as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the answer. Yes, this was indeed the problem.

    But it doesn’t solve mine.

You see, I would like to have an anonymouse survey but the user should only be able to participate once. Is this possible in any way?

    Dear @d41g,

    Thank you for the topic.

In order to achieve your desired scenario, you need to change the Limitation type.
You can go to the Quizzes > particular quiz > Limitation Users tab and choose either IP or Cookie as a method of detection for the Maximum number of attempts per user option.

It is the only possible way the Anonymity Survey option can work for the survey.
As mentioned earlier the Limitation by User ID and the Anonymity Survey options can’t work together.

    Thank you.
