Maximum Post Text Length

    I am trying to limit the text length of each post as some are getting way too much text and making the site look bad.

    I am using this in the shortcode:

    posts_displayed=page_only type=page num=3 height=200px textlength=200

    However it isn’t taking any notice of the height or the textlength.

    I have checked the footer and I can see that wp_footer() is there.

    This is a child theme based on Genesis also.

    I can’t share the link as it isn’t on a live site.

    Is there anything else I can check?

    Hey Nick,

    The posts_displayedshortcode option isn’t a valid shortcode option in our plugin. Also, ‘page’ isn’t a valid parameter for the typeoption you’re using. Where are you getting those shortcode options from? Are you using a different Facebook plugin? The full list of the shortcode options for our plugin are here. To limit the text length you can simply use the built in option on the plugin’s Customize page under the Typography tab, otherwise the textlengthoption you’re using should also work.
