    I have set both

Do not stick element when screen is smaller than: (optional)

Do not stick element when screen is larger than: (optional)

    to zero.

I now get an error message:
    “Please review the current settings:
MAXIMUM screen width has to have a larger value than the MINIMUM screen width.”

If the settings are optional, why is the message shown?

    How do I remove it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @zimbo000 this is not Max or Min. This is smaller than and larger than, which is different.

By default (that’s why it’s optional) the plugin is ignoring to stick if the screen is smaller than 0 or larger than 99999. You just need to put something here if you want, for example, stick only work at desktop view, or larger screens.

Why are you trying to set both to 0?

“Why are you trying to set both to 0?”

I do not understand what the settings do, or are for.

If you look at the site, the sidebar on sub-pages is the sticky element and is working as I want, e.g. https://www.americanroadtrips.net/highway-61-delta-memphis-chicago/memphis/memphis-day-one/

So as they are ‘optional’, I set them to zero.

That aside, if they are truly optional, surely an error message should not be displayed?

PS. Actually, there is a slight issue between screen sizes 768 px to 1200 px that I’m trying to resolve.

@zimbo000 the word “optional” means that You don’t need to fill them. Anyway, the sentence that is present there is very explanatory. Anyway, there is still the ? icon where you have an even more explicit message on what that field is for.

Although, the message you get is not because it is a 0 but because both fields cannot have the same value. The second field has to have always a larger value compared to the other.
