    Hi reypm,

The video on the plugin description is outdated now, I need to update that.

It looks like you have a conflict with your theme or another plugin somewhere. The loading icon on the mega menu settings shouldn’t be there.

Please could you disable your other plugins, see if it works, and if it does re-enable the plugins one by one until it breaks again? If you can find out which plugin is causing the problem I will take a look to see if there is a fix I can implement from our end.

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Reypm,

Please could you follow these steps.

You’ll need to be using google chrome:

    1. Check for errors listed in the console
    2. Check the network tab to see the data that is being loaded into the lightbox (it should start with {“mega…

If you see any errors, anything listed in red, or anything that looks odd please take a screenshot and post it here.

    Hi Tom, done
    1. No console errors at all (Screenshooot)
    2. This is the screenshoot for the admin-ajax.php call in Network tab (Screenshoot)

    Hi,

Thanks for those, all looks OK. If you leave the console open and try to add a widget, do any errors appear?

Another thing which would be nice to rule out is the theme, if possible please switch to one of the default themes (twenty-something).

    Tom

Hi, well I have tested with twentyfifteen and didn’t work, same issues as before. I changed to twentyfourteen and it works. Now could you help me find what’s wrong in my theme or what I’m missing?

    Hi reypm,

I’ve just checked in 2015 and it works ok for me. Which theme are you using?

HI Tom, I’m using a custom theme developed for someone (is not public even, although I can send you the theme if you need it) I just need a checklist to find where the issue could be and try to fix it.

    Hi reypm,

Without any JavaScript errors there’s no checklist really, it could be any number of things.

Please could you send me the theme? If you don’t want to publish the link here please send it through https://www.maxmegamenu.com/contact/

    Tom

    Hi Eraserhead,

Reypm didn’t get back to me on my last email so I’m not sure if we got to a solution (and I can’t remember how far we got). Please could you start a new thread with all of the details in?

    Regards,
