    Hi,

A recent update had no changes related to the listings storage. Please make sure that the plugin has been updated correctly, the update itself shouldn’t affect the database (where the listings are stored for sure). The listings may still be there, please check if they are available on back-end in WordPress/Listings section.

Also, I recommend creating automatic backups if the website is live in any case, if there are at least weekly backups you can always rollback to the previous database version https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/updraftplus/

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

We troubleshoot the issue and you must take into notice please:

    BEFORE UPDATE:

We set all our listings “Expiration Period” to 365 days by configuring every individual listing and kept HivePress settings “Expiration Period” to 30 days for all new listings, website was up and running with these listings.

    AFTER UPDATE:

As we update to new version , it forcefully expire all existing listings which was set to “Expiration Period” to 365 days and we found all these listings in “trash”.

Thanks for the details, we’ll check this again. There were no changes related to the listing expiration in the recent update, and expired listings get the Draft status, there are no functions that may move listings to Trash in bulk – maybe there are some specific website settings, third-party plugins or customizations? We also didn’t receive other similar reports regarding this after the update.

P.S. Please re-consider your review, you can always help us by reporting bugs and suggesting features https://community.hivepress.io/ and we’ll do our best to improve it, but posting 1-star reviews for every issue you notice in open-source software may lead to its un-maintenance in the long run. Thanks.
