• I’m using the Twenty Ten theme. I installed the plugin, and I have options for “Logged In Users” under my menu structure. I took one particular menu item and made it “Logged In Users” and “Administrator” and save it.
I check my other browser where I am NOT logged in and I still see the menu choice. I was under the impression this plugin was supposed to hide the menu option, but perhaps I am mistaken. Or possibly I am doing something wrong. The plugin is definitely activated.
Help! This plugin sounds like exactly what I need — if I can get it working.
    Thanks in advance!

That’s correct. If you have selected “Administrator” from under the “Logged in users” checkbox array then the menu item should only be visible to administrators.

Can you go through a debug process of elimination? Switch to a default theme. Then start disabling plugins one at a time. This type of error is usually due to a conflict. Or caching. And unfortunately, I don’t currently have a way to prevent the menu from being cached.

I don’t think it’s a caching situation, as I am currently testing it on localhost (using WampServer). I’ll try to disable the various plugins I have to see if that is the case.
Thanks! I’ll report back if I find out the reason.

I disabled all of the other plugins, and the menu item I don’t want to show (unless the user is logged in) still shows. Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work, or it is just hinckey? I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it, to no avail.

    TIA…

You’re sure there’s no caching? I used it just today on a client’s site so I’m pretty sure it’s still functioning. Are you sure you have set a menu in the appropriate menu location? NMR does not work on wp_page_menu() but is only effective when using wp_nav_menu().

If that still doesn’t help, please create a staging site (see WP-Staging) and send me admin credentials at my website.
