MBM Tax Grid page??

    I’ve noticed a new page show up on my site with this name –

    MBM Tax Grid Page. Do NOT remove this page or edit it except to change template.

    If opened it shows an error. I can’t find anything in the docs about this.

    I have searched google for this and found hundreds of site with the same page and issue.

    Until I understand this I’ve disabled the plugin.

    What is this page for?

    Hello. This is a special page that MBM uses in order to display the Taxonomy Grids (https://mooberry-book-manager.helpscoutdocs.com/article/40-taxonomy-book-grids).

    MBM automatically generates this page and it should not appear in menus or on the site. This page is not meant to be viewed directly. This page must be selected in the Book Grids Settings page as described here: https://mooberry-book-manager.helpscoutdocs.com/article/48-book-grid-settings. (this should happen automatically when MBM is installed).

    This gave hundreds of results where this page is visible on the sites. A lot say there has been an error.

    Won’t Google then see this as an error? Should the page be visible at all?

    Gotcha. I meant it shouldn’t show up in any menus so end users shouldn’t see the page. Didn’t realize that Google would index it.

    I’ve just updated MBM to include the noindex meta tag on that page so search engines won’t index it going forward.

    I don’t think Google will see it as an error because it’s not returning an error code as far as the webserver/browser is concerned. It’s just the text on the page because when you access that page directly, MBM doesn’t know what specific grid you want to show.

    Thanks for explaining that. Didn’t think it seemed right that it showed in search. Anyway, now I can get on with setting things up.
