On the dashboard of w3 total cache on our site, there’s a message that says

“The plugin is currently disabled in community mode” and the “empty all caches”, “empty only the disk cache” and “update Media query string” buttons are disabled. What does this mean? Does this mean the caching plugin is not working in our site?

    thanks

Could you check your wp-config.php file if define('WP_CACHE',true); is in there?

If you get this warning, it means you disabled everything. You can enable it by going to Performance => General settings and clicking the checkboxes for the caching modules you need.

Thank you very much. We’ll take a look.

On a side note though, the issue we encountered was not related to caching so i will close this topic now

    Thanks
